About Marlene Kinser Bell
Marlene was born in Wisconsin, and lived on a farm. From a very early age she loved to draw. After her father's death, her family moved to the west coast, where she spent her young adult years in California and Oregon. Unable to go to a formal art school, she sought out local art classes. Her first class in oils changed her life. She was now able to put to canvas the beauty that surrounded her. Moving to Florida and later retiring, she studied under two accomplished local artist, who gave her the confidence to try other mediums, such as Water Colors and Pastels. Now a member of the Artist League of Orange County Florida, and Artist Registery.com, where you can see other paintings of her work.You can see her work also at area art shows and in many Public buildings, such as local Libraries, were she has drawn considerable attentions and sales
